Meet Kristoff, a young man driving home to Las Vegas from Los Angeles. Almost out of gas he stops in the quaint desert town of Baker, CA. There he encounters an angry cook (The Mad Greek) and a prostitute who both share a similar message -- "It's 3 AM in Death Valley. Whatcha doin' out here!?"
Clearly rattled, Kris makes a wrong turn and accidentally drives on to a secret military installation. He's immediately stopped and detained by soldiers. Then he wakes in a cold cell, drugged and alone. Escaping the cell Kris runs down a long hallway which leads into a giant aircraft hangar. There he sees a monsterous UFO hovering in mid air. Underneath the craft, Kris spies humans (government officials) and ET's communicating with each other. Extremely frightened by this sight he runs back to his cell and pretends to be unconscious. Unaware of what Kristoff just witnessed the soldiers let him go and unceremoniously dump him in the middle of nowhere .
Later, Kris finds another small town and calls his best friend, Crazy Dave. In Dave's cave the two old friends get drunk and remove the tracking implant in his body. They also devise a way to get Kristoff out of the country. It's simple: steal a car, drive to Mexico, abandon the car and catch a train to Belize.
Kristoff stays in Central America for a decade. He meets and gains favor with priests from ancient tribes. Kris explains that he's on the run because he saw officials of the American Government interacting with beings not of this earth. Many pre- Columbian cultures worshiped "sky gods" but were forced to adopt Christianity by the Spanish Conquistadors in the 1500's.
After learning that the American Government is withholding information about extraterrestrials, the tribes become furious. This eventually leads to a revolution forsaking Christianity. Central and South America erupt into chaos. One day the tribal elders blindfold Kris and take him to a secret underground chamber deep inside the temple of Kukulcan, located in an ancient Mayan complex called Chichen Itza. There they introduce Kristoff to Tana.
Meet Tana. She's beautiful, mysterious and clearly not of this earth. One look in to her amazing eyes is all the evidence one needs. The elders explain that 500 years ago her human mother was taken in to the sky by their gods and returned pregnant with Tana. After seeing the child's half human appearance, the elders kept Tana hidden from the world - until now. Tana and Kristoff spend several weeks together underground and fall in love. They believe that together they can change the world.
Above ground the Revolution is in full force. The elders help the pair escape to America where they enlighten the populus about the existence of extraterrestrials on Earth . The American Government needs a fall guy and so brands Kristoff a "revolutionary upstart charlatan spreading lies about extraterrestrial contact." What the Government doesn't expect is Kris returning with Tana, a 500 year old exhibit of living proof of the reality of ET's. The pair becomes wildly famous and spreads their message of a new chapter in human evolution. People flock to them, adhere to their ideals, and ultimately are heralded as the new Messiahs.
The Government cannot and will not accept any of this - they like things just the way they are and certainly don't want the truth about ET's exposed. Kris and Tana must dealt with delicately they decide. Using disinformation in an attempt to discredit the pair, the Government takes a page right out of Project Blue Book.
However, Kristoff and Tana are not easily distracted from their mission. Regardless of Uncle Sam's efforts, the pair still has a large following which is called the Underground Down Low. With assistance from the Underground the pair dodges the government for some time. Eventually they are finally caught and taken to a black site. Tana is experimented on and treated like a lab rat. Kristoff is lobotomized and put out to pasture to an insane asylum named Sunshine Morning Glory. With the two "upstarts" out of the way, it's business as usual in America with big business, oil companies, war, racism, all while the 1% remains rich. The rest of the world stays misinformed, addicted, divided, and poor.
Editor's Note: Project Blue Book existed from 1952-1970. Officially, it was a study UFO reports. Unofficially, it was formed to dispel most UFO reports vis-a-vis witness intimidation, disinformation, and falsifying documents. After it's 18 years of existence the study concluded:
1. No UFO reported, investigated and evaluated by the Air Force was ever an indication of threat to our national security;
2. There was no evidence submitted to or discovered by the Air Force that sightings categorized as "unidentified" represented technological developments or principles beyond the range of modern scientific knowledge;
3. There was no evidence indicating that sightings categorized as "unidentified" were extraterrestrial vehicles.
